Table Guest Seating Assistant
HostMaster 4 includes a “Drag and Drop” Table Guest Seating Assistant that lets you manually select guests from a standard DataView and with the mouse drag and drop the guest onto the required table and even the required seat.
Guests can easily be reseated at other tables or unselected by returning the guest to the DataView. Seating positions can be determined by dragging the guest to the required seat at the designated table.
You can use the DataView to group guests by filtering and sorting to make the task easier.
For example, you may want guests from the same organisation to be seated at different tables to provide a better mix, or you may wish to identify guests with special dietary requirements.
For speed, an “auto-allocate” facility is provided to quickly allocate guests to tables in the current sequence that they appear in the DataView. You can then “fine-tune” the seating arrangements if required.
A running total of allocated and unallocated guests is displayed at all times.
When you have completed the seating allocations, you can print various reports:
