Presentation of Information
In addition to the familiar rows and columns spreadsheet presentation, there are a number of other presentation styles which can be used.
Presentation by Record.
This effectively turns the spreadsheet through 90 degrees, and presents the records as columns and the fields as rows. This presentation is especially useful for data entry.
Report Presentation.
This non-editable presentation displays a screen report showing the non-blank record information as a vertical list, and is ideal for presenting the information in a clear and concise way. Pictures can be included in the presentation
Hierarchical Presentation.
This displays a tree-view of the records with subordinate record links. For example, the Supplier Service presentation will list all suppliers who offer particular services, making it easy to track down suitable suppliers by Service. The Client Company presentation will list all contacts for each company.
Diary Presentations.
Both a daily and weekly presentation are provided to list the diary items, providing an easy method of keeping track of the commitments for yourself and other members of staff.
